Product description

This pewter badge is a replica of several late 14th and 15th century pilgrim badges. This badge could be earned after a pilgrimage to the Italian town of Lucca.

In Lucca a lifesize crucifix was founded where angels were frequently seen. Lucca was en route to Rome, so many pilgrims on the way to Rome visited Lucca as well.
