This pewter pilgrim badge is a replica of several 14th and 15th century originals. The badges are worn by pilgrims on pilgrimage to Rocamadour.
The mountain chapel (chapel of the Virgin Mary) of Rocamadour has been a popular site for pilgrims since te 12th century. The badge depicts Mary with the infant Jesus on her lap. Around the image is written: ‘The seal of Holy Mary of Rocamadour’.

2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
